1.Introduction

Zdax (the “App”) is an AI-powered exam preparation platform operated by Growuni Technologies Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). Zdax is used by students across age groups — from Class 10 and Class 12 board exam aspirants to candidates preparing for SSC, UPSC, Banking, Railways, and other competitive examinations.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. Questions or requests can be sent to support@zdax.in.

2.Information We Collect

• Phone number — used for OTP-based authentication via Firebase.
• Exam preferences — selected exam, exam date, language preference.
• Age or class information — if provided during onboarding, used to customise study content.
• Study activity — topics studied, revisions completed, mock test scores.
• App usage analytics — session duration, feature usage, daily activity.
• Device information — device model and OS version (standard Firebase Analytics).
• AI chat conversations — stored temporarily for caching and auto-deleted after 30 days.
• GK reading progress and bookmarks.

3.How We Use Your Data

• Personalise your study plan based on your exam and progress.
• Generate revision schedules using spaced repetition.
• Identify weak topics and adjust mock tests accordingly.
• Provide AI-powered doubt resolution.
• Calculate your readiness score and track progress.
• Improve app features and fix bugs.

4.Data Storage & Security

• Data is stored on AWS in the India region (ap-south-1).
• PostgreSQL database with SSL encryption at rest and in transit.
• Firebase Authentication for identity management.
• HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit.
• We do not sell your data to third parties — ever.

5.Third-Party Services

• Firebase (Google) — authentication and analytics.
• AWS — cloud infrastructure and storage.
• Zdax AI — our proprietary AI system used for content generation and doubt resolution.

All AI-driven features in Zdax are powered by our proprietary AI technology. We use these third-party providers only to the extent required to deliver the service you requested.

6.Advertisements

Zdax does not display any advertisements. We do not share your data with advertisers or ad networks.

7.Children’s Privacy & Minors

Zdax is used by students of all ages, including those under 18 — Class 10, Class 12, and competitive exam aspirants. We take the privacy of minors seriously.

• Users under 13: we require verifiable parental or guardian consent before account creation.
• Users aged 13–17: we collect only the minimum data necessary for the app to function — phone number for login, study progress, and exam preferences.
• We do not collect sensitive personal data from minors beyond what is needed for study functionality.
• We do not display advertisements or share minor data with any third party.
• Parents or guardians can review, modify, or delete their child’s data by writing to support@zdax.in.
• We comply with applicable Indian data protection laws regarding minors.

8.Data Retention & Deletion

• Account data is retained while your account is active.
• You can request deletion of your data by writing to support@zdax.in.
• AI chat cache is auto-deleted after 30 days.
• On account deletion, all personal data is removed within 30 days.

9.Your Rights

• Right to access your data.
• Right to correct inaccurate data.
• Right to delete your account and data.
• Right to export your data in a portable format.
